A first half goal from Paddy Mulvihill, followed up by second half goals from James Diugnan, David O’Shaughnessy and James Dolan ensured Garrycastle had a comfortable 14 point win over Bunbrosna on a warm, humid evening in Tang.
Garrycastle could have increased the winning margin had they taken all their point chances in the first half instead of trying for strikes on goal, but luckily on this occassion they wont rue those missed opportunities.
At times Bunbrosna looked like architects of their own downfall with constant bickering among themselves throughout the game. Also, some players persisted in trying pot shots from every and any angle, while giving out to any team mates who tried the same, much to their annoyance.
