Midweek trip to London for a fairly pointless friendly … but I’d probably do it all again next week if another match was on the cards!
God bless Ryanair though, I booked the trip fairly soon after the fixture was announced and got return flights for €20 so cant really complain!

Ireland done well in the 1st half although thr OG unsettled them and then in the 2nd half it was thre “Brazil Show”. Great finish from Robinho for the 2nd … still cant believe he tried to claim the 1st!!!
James McCarthy also made his Ireland debut to finally nail himself to the tricolour after the rumours of a renewed Scottish interest. Pity a few more of the less experienced players didnt get a run out as Killer and McShane just wern’t up to the job
