Wind, Rain and an OG in Dayler

Thursday 4th Feb and Athlone travelled to Dalymount Park to take on Bohemiens in a wet and windy encounter. To their credit Athlone performed admirably with notable mention to Tom O’Halloran and “on trial” goalkeeper Micheál Schlingermann.

Despite Bohs having the lions share of the play they only nicked the win by virtue of an 85th minute OG from 2nd hald substitute Eoghan O’Shea. Pity as he had put in some important tackles earlier in the game.
